In the 1st T20I against Sri Lanka in Mumbai on Tuesday, Umran had already broken Jasprit Bumrah‘s record of bowling the fastest ball by an Indian by dismissing skipper Dasun Shanaka with a 155kph scorcher.
And on Thursday in the 2nd T20I in Pune, Umran unleashed another quick delivery to shatter the stumps of Sri Lanka’s No. 3 batsman Bhanuka Rajapaksa.
Bowling from round the wicket to the left-handed Rajapaksa, Umran sent down a 147kph delivery that skidded through from back of a length and came in, and Rajapaksa was caught in a terrible position looking to play against the angle. Rajapaksa was cramped for room as he looked to angle it down to third man but chopped it off the inside edge onto the stumps.

Rajapaksa dismissed for 2 and Umran celebrated in customary style.

Umran was the pick of the Indian bowlers taking 3/48 off his 4 overs.
Though Sri Lanka won the match by 16 runs to level the series 1-1, Umran is definitely making it a series to remember.
