NEW DELHI: Gujarat Giants broke the bank to buy Australia’s off-spin all-rounder Ashleigh Gardner for a massive Rs 3.20 crore which became the second costliest buy of the inaugural Women’s Premier League auction on Monday.
Aussie wicketkeeper Beth Mooney is the next biggest buy of the franchise as she earned a big fat cheque of Rs 2 crore. Gujarat have spent 11.95 crore to build the squad of 18 players.
